Tematem pracy są różne podejścia do analizy językowej wierszy Wisławy Szymborskiej i ich tłumaczeń na język włoski. We wstępie zostało przedstawione zagadnienie fenomenu autorki we Włoszech, dlaczego akurat tam zyskała taką sławę i jak odbierali jej twórczość sami Włosi. Pierwszy rozdział poświęcony jest w całości postaci Szymborskiej. Przedstawiona jest w nim jej biografia, omówiony został styl w jakim pisała i najczęściej poruszane przez nią tematy w wierszach, a także relacje jakie tworzyła z tłumaczami swoich utworów. The study focuses on different approaches to the linguistic analysis of Wisława Szymborska's poems and their translations into Italian. The introduction discusses the phenomenon of the author in Italy, why she became so famous there and how her work was received by the Italians themselves. The first chapter is devoted entirely to the figure of Szymborska. It presents her biography, discusses the style in which she wrote and the themes she most often explored in her poems, as well as the relationships she formed with the translators of her works. The second chapter is a theoretical one, dealing with issues such as the linguistic image of the world and cognitive linguistics, issues whose discussion is essential for the analysis of the works in the third chapter. The final segment consists precisely of the interpretation of individual poems and their Italian translations in terms of various aspects of the linguistic world picture.

Lo studio si concentra su diversi approcci all'analisi linguistica delle poesie di Wisława Szymborska e delle loro traduzioni in italiano. L'introduzione tratta del fenomeno dell'autrice in Italia, del perché sia diventata così famosa e di come la sua opera sia stata accolta dagli italiani stessi. Il primo capitolo è interamente dedicato alla figura di Szymborska. Presenta la sua biografia, discute lo stile con cui scriveva e i temi che più spesso esplorava nelle sue poesie, nonché i rapporti che creava con i traduttori delle sue opere. Il secondo capitolo è di carattere teorico e affronta temi come l'immagine linguistica del mondo e la linguistica cognitiva, gli argomenti di quali discussione è essenziale per l'analisi delle opere nel terzo capitolo. Il segmento finale consiste proprio nell'interpretazione delle singole poesie e delle loro traduzioni italiane in termini di vari aspetti dell'immagine linguistica del mondo.
