Antique subject area of the essay writing of Stanislaw Vincenz

Discussing antique motifs of the essay writing of Stanislaw Vincenz is a purpose of the MA thesis. Celem pracy jest omówienie wątków antycznych w eseistyce Stanisława Vincenza. W szczególności analizie poddane zostały utwory koncentrujące się wokół najważniejszych dla pisarza postaci: Sokratesa, Platona, Homera i Pauzaniasza. One wyznaczają też porządek kompozycyjny pracy. Podstawowe pytania, które przyświecają podjętym tu badaniom, odnoszą się do miejsca, jakie w twórczości oraz światopoglądzie Stanisława Vincenza zajmuje tradycja starożytna. Praca, mimo że koncentruje się przede wszystkim na esejach, miała również posłużyć przybliżeniu pozostałych dzieł tego wciąż mało znanego autora. Dlatego też całość rozważań osadzona została w szerokim kontekście różnorodnego pod względem tematycznym i genologicznym pisarstwa Stanisława Vincenza.
