Does the bibliophily exist in our times?

Praca ta składa się z dwóch części. Pierwszą jest teoria, która opowiada o bibliofilstwie w przeszłości. O jego historii, roli antykwariatów, znaczeniu pojęć "bibliofil" i "biblioman" oraz o sposobach kolekcjonowania i tworzeniu prywatnych bibliotek.Druga część to moje rozważania o bibliofilstwie w naszych czasach, które są oparte na rozmowach z antykwariuszami, bibliofilami i “współczesnymi” bibliofilami.Jest to próba pokazania różnic w postrzeganiu tego tematu przez prawdziwych bibliofilów, jak również i tych którzy są rezultatem zmian w społeczeństwie.

The thesis consists of two parts. The first is the theory that tells about the philobily in the past. About its history, the role of antique shops, the meaning of the terms "bibliophile" and "bibliomaniac" and about ways of collecting and creating private libraries. The second part is my reflection of the bibliophily in our times, based on conversations with antiquaries, bibliophile or „modern” bibliophiles.This is an attempt to show the differences in the perception of this concept by the real bibliophiles, as well as those who are the result of changes in the society.
