The thesis consists of three chapters and describes the actions of the Secret Service. It also presents the history of assassination attempts on U.S. presidents, with particular emphasis on years 1963 - 2005. The first chapter describes the history of the Secret Service since the establishment of the agency until 1963. The second chapter presents assassination attempts on presidents: John F. Kennedy in 1963, Gerald Ford in 1975, Ronald Reagan in 1981 and George H. W. Bush in 2005. The third chapter is about the Secret Service today - a description of actions, tactics and tools used by the agency nowadays.
Praca składa się z trzech rozdziałów i opisuje działania agencji Secret Service oraz przedstawia historię zamachów na prezydentów USA, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem lat 1963 - 2005. Rozdział pierwszy to historia Secret Service od powstania agencji do 1963 roku. Rozdział drugi to omówienie zamachów na prezydentów: Johna Kennedy'ego w 1963 roku, Geralda Forda w 1975 roku, Ronalda Reagana w 1981 roku oraz Georga H. W. Busha w 2005 roku. Rozdział trzeci natomiast to Secret Service dzisiaj - opis działania, taktyki i narzędzi, którymi posługuje się agencja.
