“Women’s Solidarity”. The everyday life of a time of oppression in the memories of the wives and daughters of opposition activists from Nowa Huta.

W mojej pracy dyplomowej oddaje głos żonom oraz córce nowohuckich opozycjonistów. Korzystając z osiągnięć badań nad herstoriami odnoszę się do doświadczeń tych kobiet z okresu lat osiemdziesiątych XX wieku. Wykorzystując metodę historii mówionej analizuję rozmowy, które przeprowadziłam z wymienionymi kobietami na tematy codzienności, ich działalności opozycyjnej oraz represji jakich doświadczyły w tamtych latach. Poprzez wspomnienia oraz emocje, którymi podzieliły się ze mną moje rozmówczynie starałam się przedstawić strategie działań w czasach kryzysu i opresji, jednocześnie rozszerzając te kategorie na sfery stereotypowo związane z płcią żeńską, a które rzadko interpretuje się w kontekstach aktów sprzeciwu.

In my thesis, I hand over the words of the wife and daughter of the opposition men from Nowa Huta. With the achievements of studie on herstories I refer to the experiences of these women in the 1980s. Using the oral history method, I analyse the conversations I have with these women about everyday issues, their oppositional activities and the repression they suffered in those years. Through the memories that my interlocutors have shared with me, I have tried to present strategies for crisis and oppression, while I have extended these categories to areas that have to do with stereotypical gender roles and are seldom interpreted in the context of opposition actions.
