Praca „Między baśnią a retellingiem: Contes Charlesa Perraulta a Śpiąca królewna z Tysiąca i jednej nocy Tahara Ben Jellouna” ma na celu zbadanie możliwości retellingu w kontekście feminizmu. Z racji tego, że zarówno baśń jak i retelling wywodzą się z kultury oralnej, teoretyczna część pracy jest poświęcona analizie porównanczej obu gatunków. Natomiast część interpretacyjna, w której zostały zestawione wybrane baśnie Perrault z ich współczesnymi reinterpretacjami autorstwa Tahara Ben Jellouna analizuje jak zmienia się obraz kobiet pod piórem obu pisarzy.

The thesis "Between Fairy Tale and Retelling: Charles Perrault's Contes and Tahar Ben Jelloun's Sleeping Beauty from The Thousand and One Nights" aims to explore the possibilities of retelling in the context of feminism. Since both fairy tales and retellings originate from oral culture, the theoretical part of the study is dedicated to a comparative analysis of the two genres. The interpretive section, which compares selected tales by Perrault with their modern reinterpretations by Tahar Ben Jelloun, analyzes how the portrayal of women changes under the pen of both writers.
