Praca prezentuje najważniejsze zagadnienia związane z życiem Romów (głównie grup zamieszkujących Węgry). Składa się z czterech rozdziałów. W trzech pierwszych rozdziałach zostają zaprezentowane podstawowe zagadnienia związane z Romami, z dziejami Romów na Węgrzech oraz ich tradycjami i obyczajami. Rozdział czwarty stanowi prezentację utworu M. Lakatosa, w którym zostają wyszczególnione ważniejsze zagadnienia dotyczące życia Cyganów na Węgrzech w pierwszej połowie XX wieku. Rozdział ten uwzględnia także wątek autobiograficzny przedstawiony w utworze.

The thesis presents the most important issues related to the life of the Roma (mainly groups living in Hungary). Work contains four chapters. The first three chapters presented basic issues related to Roms, history of Gypsies in Hungary and their traditions and customs. The fourth chapter is a presentation of work M. Lakatos, in which they are listed on the major important issues concerning the life of Gypsies in Hungary in the first half of the twentieth century, also includes autobiographical depicted in the novel.
