Głównym celem pracy jest porównanie twórczości poetyckiej Arsienija Tarkowskiego i Zbigniewa Herberta. Punktem wyjściowym porównania są założenia akmeizmu. Autor analizuje także kontekst biograficzny poetów. W pracy przeprowadzone badania opierają się na następujących postulatach poetyki akmeizmu – zwrot ku rzeczywistości za pomocą konkretu i uszanowanie tradycji antycznej oraz rodzimej. Te dwa manifesty składają się z innych założeń: obiektywizacji liryki (korelat obiektywny), koncepcji czasu statycznego oraz ironii.
The main purpose of the thesis is to compare poetic work of Arseny Tarkovsky and Zbigniew Herbert. The starting point of this comparison are acmeist assumptions. Author also analyses biographical context of poets. In the thesis conducted research base on following postulates of acmeist poetics - approach to reality by concrete thing and respect for ancient and native tradition. These two manifests are composed of another assumptions: objectivization of poetry (objective correlative), the concept of static time and irony.
