What are Children's Universities and how to manage them on the basis of the benchmarking analysis of the Wadowicki Children's University?

Na podstawie wniosków z tej analizy oraz w oparciu o metodę benchmarkingu zaprezentowane zostaną propozycje ulepszenia organizacji Wadowickiego Uniwersytetu Dzieci, a także rekomendacje na przyszłość dla uniwersytetów dzieci w całej Polsce. Ponadto praca ta prezentuje rewolucje uniwersytetu oraz elementy zarządzania, które zostały przeniesione do uniwersytetów dziecięcych. W oparciu o badania przedstawia ona także różnice i podobieństwa działalności funkcjonowania uniwersytetów dziecięcych zarządzanych przez fundacje, instytucje kultury oraz uczelnie wyższe. W związku z przeprowadzonym porównaniem działalności tych uniwersytetów, zarządzanie strategiczne oraz metoda benchmarkingu okazują się najlepszymi formami służącymi realizacji zamierzonych celów oraz zebraniu istotnych wyników. Wyniki te, przełożone na konkretne zadania, będą mogły zostać zrealizowane. Analiza uniwersytetów dziecięcych, a szczególności Wadowickiego Uniwersytetu Dzieci, nie tylko wyodrębni mocne strony i wskaże „dobre praktyki”, ale także uwypukli słabe punkty oraz elementy zarządzania, które powinny ulec zmianie. Praca zarekomenduje wspólne działanie różnych instytucji organizacyjnych tworzących takie same projekty.

Katarzyna Barańska, Kraków, Institute of Culture of the Jagiellonian UniversityThis master's thesis aims to draw attention to the specificity of the project which is the university of children, and above all the analysis of selected children's universities in terms of management. Based on the conclusions and the benchmarking method, proposals will be made to improve the organization of the Wadowice Children's University as well as recommendations for the future of children's universities in Poland. In addition, it presents the evolution of the university and management elements with have been transferred to the children's universities. The work also presents differences and similarities in the functioning of children's universities managed by foundations, cultural institutions and universities on the basis of research. Therefore, strategic management and the benchmarking method are the best forms of achieving the intended goals and gathering significant results with can be achieved. The analysis of children's universities, and in particular of the Children's University of Wadowice, will not only isolate strong points and indicate "good practices", but also convex weak points and elements of management with should change. The work will recommend joint action of various organizational institutions creating the same projects.
