Legal influence on the service continuity provisions of modern power systems

dc.abstract.enOur paper will briefly examine the main aspects of the issue and provide conclusions in the interdisciplinary perspective. The idea of energy autarky is to be achieved through cooperation of numerous small energy units. Applying blockchain processes to electric power system is not a mere idea. Autarky of energy system is usually seen as a political dream to be more independent, and less vulnerable to political impact of energy producers, and suppliers. However, as debate on energy autarky goes, it becomes clear that one of the way to be more safe in terms of energy supply, is to cooperate with many energy producers, and providers, and not to limit the energy chain to one, or to main supplier. The paper consists of introductory remarks, power systems protection analyzes in technical and legal aspects, discussions of the power systems structure and original conclusions. Interdisciplinary analysis will show that in order to improve the safety of power systems and provision of service continuity both technical and legal rules should be taken into account.pl
