Model of care for patient with Parkinson's disease

Tematyka poniższej pracy dotyczy modelu pielęgnowania osoby z chorobą Parkinsona przebywającej w Zakładzie Opiekuńczo-Leczniczym.Celem pracy było rozpoznanie problemów zdrowotnych oraz przedstawienie sposobu ich rozwiązywania na przykładnie pacjentki będącej w postępującym stadium choroby. Praca została oparta na metodzie indywidualnego przypadku. Model opieki stworzony na podstawie teorii pielęgnowania według Dorothei Orem ma na celu ułatwienie i usprawnienie pracy pielęgniarek, które przejmują opiekę nad chorymi z tego typu chorobami w pracy.Praca składa się z trzech części. W części pierwszej przedstawiono kliniczną postać choroby Parkinsona, jej definicję, historię, epidemiologię, etiologię i patogenezę, a także objawy towarzyszące chorobie oraz metody jej diagnostyki i leczenia. Druga część pracy dotyczy metodologii badań własnych, w której przedstawiono cel pracy, problemy i metody badawcze, organizację badań oraz zbiorcze wyniki badań w postaci opisu przypadku pacjenta z chorobą Parkinsona. W trzeciej części przedstawiono założenia modelu pielęgnowania według Dorothei Orem. Scharakteryzowano 11 problemów zdrowotnych pacjentki z chorobą Parkinsona, metody ich rozwiązywania oraz ocenę i realizację podjętych działań pielęgnacyjnych. Pracę zakończono podsumowaniem i wnioskami oraz wykazem piśmiennictwa, z którego zaczerpnięto informacje na temat choroby Parkinsona.

This bachelor’s thesis concerns the model of nursing the sick people with Parkinson's disease in the nursing and medical establishment.The point of this study is to identify health problems and provide a method of solving them exampled of patient being in the progressive stage of the disease. The bachelor’s thesis is based on the method of the individual case. The model of nursing is created on the basis of nursing theory created by Dorothea Orem which aims to facilitate and streamline the work of nurses who take care of patients with this type of illness.The bachelor’s thesis consists of three parts. The first part presents the clinical form of Parkinson's disease and the definition, history, epidemiology, aetiology and pathogenesis, as well as the symptoms associated with the disease and methods of diagnosis and treatment.The second part concerns the methodology of own analysis, which outlines the aim, issues and research methods, organization of research and the cumulative results of research in the form of a description of the patient with Parkinson's disease.The third section presents the assumptions of the nursing model created by Dorothea Orem. Thirteen health problems of the patient with Parkinson's disease were characterized, methods of solution and the evaluation and execution of actions taken. The bachelor’s thesis was ended with the summary which consists of conclusions and a list of references, from which the information on Parkinson's disease were derived .
