Analysis of leadership styles in the Municipal and Communal Office in Niepołomice.

Celem badania było poznanie dominującego stylu kierowania Burmistrza Urzędu Miasta i Gminy w Niepołomicach, oraz analiza, jak ten styl zarządzania wpływa na satysfakcję pracowników instytucji. Część teoretyczna pracy zawiera opis definicji stylów kierowania, wraz z ich powiązaniami do pojęć satysfakcji z pracy. Praca została wzbogacona treścią o dokumenty pochodzące z urzędu, którymi są statut i regulamin badanej instytucji, w którym opisana jest struktura organizacyjna jednostki. Analiza była przeprowadzana za pomocą badań ankietowych. Wyniki pokazują, że Burmistrz Urzędu Miasta i Gminy w Niepołomicach stosuje demokratyczny styl zarządzania pracownikami, a poziom satysfakcji z tym związany jest na wysokim poziomie.

The aim of this thesis was cognition dominant leadership style of the Mayor of the Municipal and Commune Office in Niepołomice, and an analysis of how this style affects the satisfaction of the institution's employees. The theoretical part of the thesis includes a description of the definition of leadership styles along with their connection with job satisfaction. The work was enriched with documents from the office, which are the statute and regulations of the examined institution, in which the organizational structure of the unit is described. The analysis was carried out using a questionnaire survey. The results show that the Mayor of the Municipal and Communal Office in Niepołomice applies a democratic leadership style, and the level of satisfaction associated with it is at a high level.
