The Great Famine in Ukraine in 1932-1933 as a Soviet attempt to exterminate the nation

Praca poświęcona jest problemowi Wielkiego Głodu na Ukrainie, który miał miejsce w latach 1932-1933. Podzielona jest na trzy rozdziały problemowe. Pierwszy rozdział poświęcony jest sytuacji na Ukrainie po przejęciu władzy na jej obszarze przez bolszewików, problemowi głodu który nawiedził te obszary w latach dwudziestych oraz kolektywizacji. Drugi rozdział to omówienie Wielkiego Głodu, podaje krótko przyczyny, przebieg, skutki oraz przedstawia kilka kwestii spornych w postrzeganiu tych wydarzeń. Trzeci rozdział z kolei to przedstawienie tego jak świat (w pojęciu państw zachodnich, w tym Polski) postrzegał wydarzenia ukraińskie, oraz próba odpowiedzi na pytanie dlaczego nic w tej kwestii nie zrobiono.

Work is devoted to the problem of the Great Famine in Ukraine, which took place in 1932-1933. It is divided into three chapters problem. The first chapter is devoted to the situation in Ukraine after its seizure of power by the Bolsheviks, the problem of hunger that hit those areas in the twenties and collectivization. The second chapter is a discussion of the Great Famine, gives briefly the cause, course, effects, and presents a number of contentious issues in the perception of these events. The third chapter, in turn, is a representation of how the world (the concept of Western countries, including Polish) saw the Ukrainian events and attempt to answer the question of why nothing in this matter was done.
