Uwzględniono w niej współczesną historię polityczną pomocy amerykańskiej, wsparcie gospodarcze i współpracę wojskową. Opisano podejście Baracka Obamy do sytuacji na Bliskim Wschodzie, skupiono uwagę na roli przemówienia kairskiego w 2009 roku. Zarysowano nastawienie Stanów Zjednoczonych do konfliktu izraelsko-palestyńskiego, działań premiera Benjamina Netanjahu i jego rządu (dotyczących m.in terenów okupowanych, kwestii Wschodniej Jerozolimy i Zachodniego Brzegu). This Bachelor thesis discusses US-Israeli relations during the presidency of Barack Obama against the background of previous events. It covers the contemporary political history of American aid, economic support and military cooperation.The approach of Barack Obama to the situation in the Middle East was described, and attention was focused on the role of the Cairo speech in 2009. The attitude of the United States to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the actions of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government (concerning, inter alia, the occupied territories, the issues of East Jerusalem and the West Bank) was outlined. The implications of the Arab Spring and their impact on Washington-Tel Aviv relations were discussed. Attention was drawn to the elements of changing the approach of the American administration to the above problems during the second term of President Obama.The text pays particular attention to the special relations between the United States and Israel and bilateral programs (eg the Iron Dome). The influence of the Jewish lobby in the USA was discussed, as well as the aspects of many years of support for Israel on the international arena, in particular on the forum of the United Nations.
