Migracja zarobkowa, powszechnie znana jako „podróż za chlebem”, jest w dobie obecnych czasów coraz bardziej niepokojącym i nasilającym się zjawiskiem społecznym. Istotnym elementem intensywnego wzrostu skali emigracji w stosunkowo krótkim czasie są jego skutki zarówno dla gospodarki jak i dla społeczeństwa, w tym w szczególności dla funkcjonowania rodziny.Celem niniejszej była próba ukazania obrazu i koncepcji rodziny w umyśle dorastającej młodzieży ze środowisk niepełnych czasowo z powodu emigracji zarobkowej rodziców. W pierwszej części pracy zebrano wiadomości odnośnie rodziny oraz jej miejscu w życiu dorastającego człowieka. Następnie przedstawiono jak prezentują się utrwalone poglądy na współczesną rodzinę oraz na funkcje. Ukazano rodzinę jako wartość w życiu ponowoczesnego człowieka oraz scharakteryzowano jak powinno przedstawiać się przygotowanie życia rodzinnego pod względem profilaktyczno – edukacyjnym.Część druga dotyczy problemu społecznego, jakim jest eurosieroctwo. Wyjaśniono najważniejsze terminy podjęte w pracy. Ponadto ukazano skalę i obraz zjawiska emigracji zarobkowej w Polsce oraz określono, jak brak pełnej opieki rodzicielskiej wpływa na indywidualne i społeczne funkcjonowanie adolescentów.Trzeci rozdział opisuje metodologię badań, czyli cel i przedmiot badań, problemy i hipotezy oraz metody i techniki badawcze. Scharakteryzowano także teren i organizację przebiegu badań.Dwa kolejne rozdziały dotyczą wyników uzyskanych podczas badań przeprowadzonych wśród młodzieży z rodzin niepełnych czasowo z powodu emigracji zarobkowej rodziców oraz młodzieży z rodzin pełnych.Pracę kończą wnioski i uogólnienia z przeprowadzonych badań empirycznych.

Labor migration, commonly known as „travel for bread”, is nowadays more and more disturbing and escalating social phenomenon. An important element of intensive growth of emigration in a relatively short period of time are its consequences both for the economy and society, including in particular the functioning of the family. The purpose of my M.A. thesis was an attempt to show the image and concept of the family in mind of adolescents from the environments temporarily incomplete due to labor migration of their parents. In the first part of my thesis there were collected some information related to the family and its place in the life of an adolescent human. Then there were demonstrated how are presented settled views on the contemporary family and its functions. The family was shown as a value for the life of postmodern man and there were characterized in what way should be presented preparation to family life in terms of preventive-educational perspective. The second part of this thesis relates to the social problem, which is euro-orphanhood. And it explained the main terms undertaken in this work. In addition, there were shown the scale and the image of phenomenon of labor emigration in Poland and focused on identification of how the lack of full parental care affects the individual and social functioning of adolescents.The third section describes the research methodology, the purpose and object of the study, problems and hypotheses, methods and research techniques. What is more, there were characterized the area and the organization of studies. Two further chapters deal with the results obtained during the survey conducted among young people from single parent families temporarily inadequate due to labor emigration of their parents and young people from full families. The M.A. thesis ends with conclusions and generalizations from conducted empirical studies.
