Abstract in English
The article addresses the issue of experience in relation to post-secular discourse. The phenomenon is presented in the example of an analysis of two European films: Lars von Trier's "The Melancholy" and Béla Tarr’s "The Turin Horse", as two visions of the what happened during the apocalypse. The border experience caused by these works is subject to further interpretations using three possible perspectives: religious, secular, and post-secular. Considering the essence of both films in this way proves that in the case of postmodern films about religious themes, a postsecular key should be used, which alone corresponds to the postmodern concept of faith encoded in the films.
