Czy w Dobrocinie wszystko wychodzi na dobre? : sposoby mówienia o wartościach w szkolnym dyskursie polonistycznym
Does everything turn out well in Dobrocin? : ways of discussing about values in the polish philological school discourse

This article takes on the problematic of axiological discourse in the polish language classes. Discussion of various methods in which the values reveal themselves in literary texts brings out the thought about how the values should be presented and discussed in the school polish philology didactics. The examples of didactic actions show how is it possible to axiomatically dialogue with a pupil in both direct and indirect ways. In the second part of the article we can distinguish two types of attitude – indoctrinating and relative, both endangering for the real dialogue about values. Both of them are shown in a metaphorical manner by a “blind man” and a “labyrinth”. These metaphors represent the attitudes of a pupil making his way towards the values. The threats of indoctrination and relativism can be avoided thanks to the discursive consciousness which is helpful in transforming the types of contact with the pupil. Didactical actions conducted while holding to the discursive consciousness allow the pupil to speak on his own behalf and to become an independently thinking person.
