The character of Virginia Woolf and her impact on cultural texts of the twentieth and twenty-first century

Niniejsza praca została poświęcona Virginii Woolf oraz wpływowi, jaki wywarła jej postać oraz twórczość na teksty kultury XX i XXI wieku. Autorka scharakteryzowała ogólnie początki ruchu feministycznego w Polsce i na świecie, rozpatrując go w kontekście feminizmu liberalnego i radykalnego. Przedstawiła sylwetkę Virginii Woolf wraz z omówieniem jej twórczości, a także przytoczyła przykłady tekstów kultury nawiązujących do życiorysu oraz spuścizny pisarki.

This study has been devoted to Virginia Woolf and the impact her character and work had on cultural texts of the twentieth and twenty-first century. The author characterized the general beginning of the feminist movement in Poland and in the world, considering it in the context of liberal and radical feminism. Further introduced the character of Virginia Woolf along with a discussion of her work and presented examples of cultural texts, referring to the life and legacy of the writer.
