Celem pracy jest przeanalizowanie zjawiska morderstw honorowych w Haszymidzkim Królestwie Jordanii ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem wpływu tradycji oraz prawa państwowego na te przestępstwa. Zawiera ona przedstawienie roli i istoty honoru w społeczeństwie arabskim, a przede wszystkim wśród mieszkańców Jordanii. W pracy omówiony został problem morderstw honorowych oraz ich geneza. Szczególną uwagę przywiązano do przestępstw popełnianych w imię honoru w Haszymidzkim Królestwie Jordanii.
The aim of the study is to analyze the phenomenon of honor killings in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and especially the influence of tradition and state law for these crimes. It contains a presentation of the role and essence of honor in Arab society, and especially among the inhabitants of Jordan. The study discusses the problem of honor killings and their genesis. Particular attention was given to crimes of honor in Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
