The kidnapping for ransom

Tematyką niniejszej pracy jest zagadnienie porwań dla okupu. W opracowaniu omówiono aspekty teoretyczne i materialnoprawne tego przestępstwa. Ponadto na potrzeby pracy przeprowadzono badania własne, obejmujące analizę akt sądowych oraz ankietę. W rozdziale pierwszym przedstawiona została etymologia pojęcia kidnaping, rys historyczny, typologia porwań, a także statystka policyjna i sądowa. Prawne aspekty przestępstwa zostały zawarte w rozdziale drugim opracowania. W następnym rozdziale dokonana została charakterystyka sprawców i ofiar porwań dla okupu, a także przedstawiono skutki materialne i niematerialne omawianego czynu. W rozdziale czwartym skupiono się na charakterystyce taktyki sprawców porwań dla okupu. W ostatnim rozdziale natomiast zaprezentowano metodologię oraz wyniki badań własnych.

The topic of this Master's Thesis is the issue of kidnapping for ransom. The purpose of the thesis is to present the theoretical and legal aspects of this crime. In addition, for the purposes of the study, author's own research was carried out. The first chapter presents etymology of the concept of kidnapping, historical background, types of kidnappings and police and judicial statistics. The legal aspects of crime are included in the second chapter of the thesis. In the following two chapters, the characteristics of perpetrators and victims of kidnappings for ransom are presented, as well as the consequences of the crime. The last chapter analyses the results of the research.
