Modeling the reflection effect in the binary system 2M 1938+4603

dc.abstract.enWe applied the Wilson-Devinney code to model the light curve of the eclipsing binary system 2M 1938+4603 observed with the Kepler spacecraft. We failed to reproduce the shape of the secondary minimum with this code but we were able to improve the fit when modifications were applied. These modifications consist of change of the flux distribution over the illuminated hemisphere of the cool companion by varying limb darkening and albedo coefficients according to its local surface temperature, raised due to strong irradiation from the sdB star.pl
