Poststructural inspirations of theatre theory and performance

Celem artykułu jest próba ukazania możliwości zastosowania kategorii wypracowanych na gruncie refleksji poststrukturalistycznej zarówno do teoretycznej analizy dzieła teatralnego, jak i do jego konkretnego procesu tworzenia i odbioru "tu i teraz". Analizowani przeze mnie myśliciele proponują odmienne od zastanych podejście do refleksji nie tylko o konkretnych tworach artystycznych, lecz także redefiniują status i cel ich interpretacji, znaczenia, potencjalnego sensu. Tekst wskazuje na kwestie poruszane przez filozofów poststrukturalistycznych, które są najbardziej znaczące dla przemian w myśleniu o problemach związanych z teorią i praktyką sztuki teatru.

The aim of the article is an attempt to present the possibility of the application of the categories elaborated on the basis of poststructural thought, in both theoretical analysis of a play, as well as in its process of creation and reception "here and now". The thinkers analyzed in my article suggest different from the established approach to afterthoughts, not only in particular artistic creations. They also redefine their status and the aim of their interpretation, their meaning and possible sense and understanding. The text points out to the issues raised by poststructural thinkers which are most relevant for the alterations in the way of thinking about problems connected with the theory and experience of drama.
