Globalism and postmodernism in the ideology of eurasianist : evolution of views

Globalizm i postmodernizm v evrazijskoj ideologii : èvolŭciâ vzglâdov

Contemporary eurasianism is an international movement with a broad spectrum of activities. Alexander Dugin, an ideologist of this movement, promotes the need of using all the tricks and technology of modern Western culture, including the ideology of postmodernism, in order to use them in the fight against globalism. A strategic ally is Conservative Judaism and “continental” Islam. Dugin’s ideology artificially combines: the philosophy of nature, mythology, religion and various ideologies. It is also unnatural to combine eurasianism with geopolitics. Dugin gives spiritual and mystical meaning to geopolitical concepts. The declaration of opposition to geopolitics pursued by the USA proves that Dugin understands it as a competition of an esoteric-pantheistic doctrine and a liberal one. The postmodern approach deprives the native cultural tradition of originality and sacred power. Geographic determinism is visible in Dugin’s views. He emphasizes not only the primary role of space, but space has ideological and geopolitical meaning in the views, in contrast to purely geopolitical or Christian-salutary one. The postmodern project of neo-eurasianism is based on forgetting about the existence of an important dispute between metaphysics and modernism related to a different understanding of the role of time and space in human life. Space is a reservoir of models that can be used to construct any direction of civilization development. In modern neo-eurasianism it is easy to notice the evolution of views of the role of postmodernism in geopolitics - the attention is focused on problems of geoculture. A characteristic feature of Dugin’s views is the fact that he focuses on the dispute with Western ideology or the worldview, like Russian thinkers of the nineteenth century. Dugin does not incorporate Orthodox anthropology and theology of the state into neo-eurasianism ideology.

Современное евразийство является многоаспектным и ставящим перед собой различные задачи движением междунароного масштаба. Его формы деятельности созданы для борьбы с глобалистской экспансией США и с целью пропаганды собственной идеологиию Следуя принципу плюрализма, стихийного взаимообогащения и синтеза, с самого начала в неоевразийский проект были внесены различные традиции. В стратегические союзники привлекается и консервативный иудаизм и «континентальный» ислам. Неоевразийская идеология употребляет постмодернистский антураж для создания геополитической программы. Он придает геополитическим концепциям духовно-мистический характер. Идейная система искусственно совмещает: натурфилософию, мифологию, религию, различные идеологические течения. Неоевразийтство сводится к проблеме выбора модели цивилизационного развития, связано с поиском идейной перспективы, необходимой для общественной мобилизации сил в процессе модернизациии собственной цивилизации. Декларация сопротивления американской геополитике свидетельствует o соперничестве либеральной и эзотерически-пантеистечоской доктрин. Они похожи космополитизмом, проявляющемся в привязанности к абстрактным геополитическим сочетаниям. В настоящее время в неоевразийской идеологии наблюдается эволюция взглядов на роль постмодерна в геополитике. По сравнению с ранними работами Дугин сейчас сосредоточивает внимание на проблемах геокльтуры. Характерной чертой Дугинского дискурса является то, что он выстраивает свои концепции наподобие русских мыслителей XIX в. вступая в спор с западной идеологией или мировоззрением. Дугина не включает в идею неоевразийства вопросов антропологии и богословия государства, характреных для традиции русской культуры. Потому она призводит впечатление искусственно произведенной в противовес западной либеральной идеологии.
