Podstawą artykułu jest rękopis bibliografa i dyrektora Biblioteki Jagiellońskiej Karola Estreichera (1827-1908), pochodzący ze zbiorów Towarzystwa Przyjaciół Sztuk Pięknych w Krakowie. Wiersze zebrane są w tomik pod tytułem "Schodząc ze sceny" i są obrazem życia teatralnego aktorki Sylwii Jutkiewicz (ur. 15 czerwca 1871). Poezja doskonale dokumentuje zależność aktora od środowiska i dyrekcji teatru, oraz życie zakulisowe. Utwory poprzedzone są listami literatów i krytyków teatralnych, do których Karol Estreicher wysłał rękopis w celu uzyskania opinii na jego temat. Opisywany materiał jako całość stanowi ciekawy wkład w historię teatru krakowskiego w XIX wieku

The whole groundwork of this article is manuscript, which is the part of collection kept by The Fine Arts Association in Cracow, written by Karol Estreicher Senior (1827–1908) - famous bibliographer and principal of Jagiellonian Library. All poems are put together in one volume titteled: "Getting off the stage" and become the picture of scenic life of actress Sylwia Jutkiewicz (born on June 15, 1871). The poetry famously described actor's dependance on theatrical environment and management of the theatre and also backstage life. Poems are introduced by letters creating by writers and literary critics, to whom Karol Estreicher sent his manuscript to receive their opinion. Described literary work as a whole volume become very interesting contribution in history of cracow theatre of 19th century
