The main aim of this paper is to present the collection of Spanish literary manuscripts belonging to the “Berlin Collection”, which comes from the former Prussian State Library in Berlin (Preussische Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin) and is currently deposited in the Jagiellonian Library in Kraków. There were chosen the manuscripts which would be most interesting to the researchers pursuing the works of Saint John of the Cross (1542-1591), Francisco de Quevedo (1580-1645) and Lope de Vega (1562-1635), very little known to the specialists in the Hispanic studies and as such, they are of great value as a source of further research. The article analyzes the history of the above mentioned manuscripts and some data which may be useful while looking at the text transmission.pl
