Autorka próbuje ukazać różnice między tradycyjną baśnią a współczesną bajką dla dzieci – na poziomie aksjologii. W wielu przypadkach różnice te są widoczne w konstrukcji narracji, prezentacji bohaterów i ich świata, budowaniu napięcia, wyborze tematów, motywów, perypetii… aż po ośmieszenie stereotypów. Innowacje nie pozostają obojętne dla edukacyjnych i terapeutycznych wartości tekstów przeznaczonych dla małych dzieci.

The Author of the paper attempts to present differences between a traditional fairy tale and a contemporary children’s story – at the level of axiology. Not infrequently are these differences visible in the narrative construction, the depiction of the protagonists and their world, the escalation of suspense, the selection of topics, motifs, adventures... up to the satire on stereotypes. These innovations do not remain neutral in terms of their impact on the educational and therapeutic values of texts written for small children.
