Justice in the field of university education : standards and everyday studying

Celem artykułu jest pokazanie znaczenia sprawiedliwości oraz stosowania jej zasad w sferze uniwersyteckiej edukacji. Artykuł składa się z dwóch części. W pierwszej, przedstawiamy sprawiedliwość jako normę relacji międzyludzkich w klasycznym ujęciu, tj. jako etyczną miarę rozdziału dóbr oraz osądzania i oceny ludzkich zachowań. Stawiamy tezę, że doskonalenie zmysłu sprawiedliwości (zanim przekształci się w trwałą dyspozycję sprawiedliwego działania) wymaga edukacji. Przez wieki zadanie to starał się realizować również uniwersytet. Pod wpływem globalnych trendów obecnie ulega on głębokim przemianom, które kształtują odmienne od dotychczasowych warunki i atmosferę studiowania. I tak w drugiej części artykułu prezentujemy opinię studentów, którzy na podstawie swoich potocznych doświadczeń oceniają, na ile uniwersytet jest dla nich praktyczną szkołą rozpoznawania, respektowania i uczenia się zasad sprawiedliwości oraz jakie są tego uwarunkowania.

The aim of the paper is to show the importance of justice and applying its principles in the field of university education. The article consists of two parts. In the first part we present justice as a standard of human relationships in the classic sense: as an ethical as well as distributing goods jugding and evaluation of human behaviour. The thesis: enhancing the sense of justice (before it transforms into a permanent disposition of action), requires education. For centuries, this task tried to pursue the university. Under the influence of global trends currently it undergoes profound changes that shape different from the existing conditions and atmosphere to study. And so, in the second part of this paper we present the students opinions based on their everyday experience, evaluating how the university is for them a practical school of recognition, respect and learning the principles of justice and what are the determinants.
