Abstract in English

The article deals with comments published in the Internet as a reaction to remarks made by foreigners. Subject’s utterances are treated as a way of his (her) self-presentation and presentation of held values. The author uses methodology of cognitive linguistic and concept of linguistic image of the world. The article shows that when Polish Internet users encounter aliens they use stigmatization and stereotypes, feel threatened and display their aversion.
