Innowacje pełnią ważną rolę na rynku, również tym hotelarskim. Celem pracy jest zbadanie wpływu innowacji na rozwój hotelarstwa. Szczególną uwagę skupiono na ukazaniu tej problematyki w hotelach spółki B&B Hotels Polska. Praca składa się z dwóch części, teoretycznej i empirycznej. W części teoretycznej ukazano istotę hotelarstwa oraz innowacji. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na źródła innowacji oraz czynniki wypływające na ich wdrażanie i rozwój w branży. W części empirycznej scharakteryzowano spółkę B&B Hotels Polska oraz zaprezentowano wyniki badania empirycznego, przeprowadzonego wśród 55 pracowników spółki, pokazujące ich opinie na temat roli innowacji w rozwoju firmy, w której są zatrudnieni. Z badania wynika, że innowacje odgrywają istotną rolę w rozwoju hotelarstwa. Innowacje są istotnym czynnikiem wpływającym na przyszłe perspektywy rozwoju hotelarstwa.

Innovations play an important role in the market, including the hotel market. The aim of the study is to examine the impact of innovation on the development of the hotel industry. Particular attention was paid to presenting this issue in the hotels of the B&B Hotels Polska company. The work consists of two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part shows the essence of the hotel industry and innovation. Particular attention was paid to the sources of innovation and the factors influencing their implementation and development in the industry. In the empirical part, the company B&B Hotels Polska was characterized and the results of an empirical study conducted among 55 employees of the company were presented, showing their opinions on the role of innovation in the development of the company for which they are employed. The research shows that innovation plays an important role in the development of the hotel industry. Innovation is an important factor influencing the future development prospects of the hotel industry.
