Tekst jest listem dra Marka Mariusza Tytko (z Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego w Krakowie) skierowanym do polskich parlamentarzystów (posłów i senatorów obojga plci). Podpisy te zostaly zignorowane przez lewicowo-liberalnych parlamentarzystów (Platforma Obywatelska, Polskie Stronnictwo Ludowe, Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej) w styczniu 2009 r. w polskim Parlamencie.
The text is a letter from Marek Mariusz Tytko PhD (from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków) addressed to Polish Members of the Parliament (deputies and senators of both sexes). The author supports the establishment of a Feast of Three Kings (i.e. a Feast of Epiphany) in Poland. In the letter, the author reminds the historical context of the liquidation of the Epiphany feast by the communist authorities in Poland in 1960 during the Polish People's Republic. The author proposes that in exchange for the established 1 day off (January 6) should be liquidated as 1 day off from work - the former communist Labor Day on May 1. The author refers to the social campaign of the collecting 700,000 signatures regarding the establishment of a public holiday on January 6. These signatures were ignored by left-liberal parliamentarians (Civic Platform, Polish People's Party, Democratic Left Alliance) in January of 2009 in the Polish Parliament.
