In the thesis, I intend to examine and explore how ties between the United States and Belarus have improved, beginning with the World War II era and continuing today. I find it very interesting to follow the way relationship levels have changed since Alexander Lukashenko came to power; to see the ups and downs, to find the reasons for that. I also want to draw attention to the position and effect of the Russian Federation on the history, current, and potential of Belarus. I am seeking to understand what influences caused the rapid warmth in Belarus-U.S. relations. Moreover, I like to explain which nation will consider it helpful and what this partnership might contribute to. The most important idea, concurrently the hypothesis of my work is to interpret why the United States is as yet attempting to assist Belarus with keeping its independence, despite the fact Minsk-Moscow has such close relations.
