Praca magisterska przybliża postać hiszpańskiego filozofa José Ortegi y Gasseta. Główny namysł został poświęcony temu, jak pojmował rolę jednostki i czym dla niego było społeczeństwo. Początkowy fragment pracy to biografia myśliciela, odnosząca się do życia prywatnego, ale przede wszystkim do aktywności, które podejmował na przestrzeni lat. Często były one związane z wydarzeniami z historii Hiszpanii. Następne rozdziały stanowią analizę wybranych dzieł. W pracy można znaleźć informacje o poglądach Ortegi na takie sprawy jak: koncepcja buntu mas, kondycja sztuki, rola filozofii w życiu człowieka, przeszłość, teraźniejszość i przyszłość Europy, miłość jako kluczowy element możliwości uzyskania satysfakcji przez jednostkę. Ostatnia część pracy to porównanie myśli filozofa z innymi, podejmującymi podobne problemy. Są to: Alexis de Tocqueville, Christopher Lasch, Peter Sloterdijk i David Riesman. |

Thesis describes a Spanish philosopher José Ortega y Gasset. The main focus was to write how he understood an individual and what a society meant to him. The beginning of work is thinker's biography, referring to his private life, but mainly to his activities made over the years. They were often connected with events from the Spanish history. Next chapters are analysis of particular books. In work we can find information about Ortega's point of view in such aspects as: the conception of revolt of the masses, condition of art, role of philosophy in human's life, past, present and future of Europe, love as a crucial factor that helps obtain satisfaction by individual. The last part is a comparison of philosopher's thought with others, considering similar issues. These are: Alexis de Tocqueville, Christopher Lasch, Peter Sloterdijk and David Riesman. |
