W pracy pod tytułem "Funkcjonowanie systemu totalitarnego: studium przypadku Korei Północnej" omówiono zagadnienie odniesienia poszczególnych funkcji danego systemu politycznego do praktyki stosowanej przez północnokoreański reżim. Poprzez zastosowanie metody historycznej autor ukazał wpływ najważniejszych wydarzeń na ukształtowanie badanego obszaru oraz wskazał jak dużą rolę we wspieraniu komunizmu spełniły światowe mocarstwa. Poprzez studiowanie aktów prawnych opisano również wkład Organizacji Narodów Zjednoczonych na próby niwelowania zagrożenia ze strony badanego kraju. Metoda ilościowa, użyta przy prezentacji danych, wspomogła przedstawienie ważnych obszarów współpracy na Półwyspie Koreańskim. Autor przedstawił również przewidywane warianty rozwoju bądź rozpadu Koreańskiej Republiki Ludowo-Demokratycznej. Przeprowadzone badanie wykazało, iż Korea Północna w każdej opisanej dziedzinie polityki międzynarodowej i krajowej spełnia założenia ustroju totalitarnego. Wnioskiem z potwierdzonej hipotezy jest stwierdzenie, iż badany kraj może stanowić bezpośrednie zagrożenie dla społeczności międzynarodowej.

This BA thesis entitled The Functioning of the Totalitarian System: A Case Study of North Korea discusses the issue of reference of each function of the political system to the practice followed by the North Korean regime. Through application of the historical method the author showed the influence of the most important events on the formation of the study area and pointed out how influential were the world powers in supporting the communist system. By discussing legal acts, the author describes the contribution of the United Nations attempting to eliminate the threat of the examined country. Quantitative method helped the presentation of important areas of cooperation on the Korean Peninsula. The author presents the projected variants of development or decay of the Korean People's Democratic Republic. The study found that North Korea in any described field of international politics and domestic policy comply with requirements of totalitarian regime. The conclusion of the confirmed hypothesis is the finding that the respondent country can pose a direct threat to the international community.
