Dopasowywanie obrazów to zagadnienie z dziedziny widzenia komputerowego, pozwalające na rozwiązanie wielu problemów i często w praktyce realizowane metodą detektor-deskryptor. Przedmiotem niniejszej pracy jest zastosowanie algorytmu wykorzystującego informację topologiczną jako deskryptora wraz z powszechnie używanymi detektorami. Przeprowadzone badania dotyczą również testów skuteczności opracowanego algorytmu na tle innych algorytmów o tym zastosowaniu. W tym celu została stworzona aplikacja, która pozwala na zbadanie jakości wybranych detektorów oraz deskryptorów. Praca zawiera również dokładny opis metody oceniania badanych algorytmów. Ponadto, w pracy dyplomowej znajduje się analiza uzyskanych wyników oraz wnioski, gdzie zawarta jest ocena algorytmu deskrypcji opartego o informację topologiczną.

Two view matching is an issue of computer vision that solves many problems and it is often resolved by detector-descriptor method. The purpose of this thesis is to apply algorithm based on topological information as an descriptor, with commonly used detectors, and to examine its effectiveness as compared to the other algorithms designed for this. For this purpose an application was created that allows for examination of the quality of selected detectors and descriptors. The master thesis also contains an exact description of the method used for comparing effectiveness of the studied algorithms. Moreover, the thesis includes an analysis of the obtained results and conclusions, which contains assessment of the descriptor based on topological information.
