Praca jest próbą zestawienia wybranych determinantów agresji i przemocy w rodzinie.W części pierwszej przywołana jest wiedza teoretyczna i podstawy definicyjne takich zagadnień jak rodzina, środowisko rodzinne, przemoc, agresja. Kolejny rozdział dotyczy agresji oraz jej form, a także zakresu w jakim problem ten występuje w Polsce. Następnie przedstawiono patologiczne relacje pomiędzy członkami rodziny oraz kierunki w jakich stosowana jest przemoc. Część druga dotyczy uwarunkowań pojawienia się przemocy w rodzinie; najpierw zestawiono socjologiczne i psychologiczne aspekty zjawiska, następnie wnioski płynące z najnowszych badań neurologicznych, a na końcu podkreślono wpływ stresu, alkoholu, cukru, tryptofanu i miłości romantycznej na zachowanie agresywne.Na końcu pojawia się próba argumentacji stanowiska, wedle którego każdy pedagog i wychowawca powinien znać, umieć rozpoznać i być wyczulonym na wszelkie przejawy agresji i przemocy.

During the course of this thesis an attempt was made to organize the author's and reader's knowledge in the subject of aggression and domestic violence. The thesis is about well-known and widely commented determinants of domestic abuse.This thesis starts with the theoretical fundamentals: definitions of family, violence, aggression, whilst also featuring some models of families. The next chapter takes a closer look at the problem of abuse, its forms and extent of the problem in Poland. Subsequently there will be presented relations between members of the families and directions of aggressive actions in families. Afterwards the aim of the thesis will be presented and its most important part: determinations and reasons of unacceptable behaviours in a family environment which should be an asylum. The contents of this part were carefully selected, so firstly, there are social and psychological basics without which there is no ground to consider the subject. Another part concerns neurobiological reasons of aggressive behaviour; interesting new researches from Joachim Bauer. Afterwards I will outline the importance of stress, romantic love, sugar, alcohol and Tryptophan (an α-amino acid that is used in the biosynthesis of proteins).Finally, I will try to explain why it is so important and highly expected for a pedagogue to know all those determinants, recognize symptoms and being more than adequate to help if needed.
