Nanoreplikacja strukturalna jako metoda syntezy katalizatorów do eliminacji lotnych związków organicznych.
nanoreplikacja, spalanie toluenu, katalizatory miedziowe
Nanocasting, toluene over oxidation, copper catalysts
A series of copper-based catalysts deposited on mesoporous supports were synthesized through a structural replication process. The catalysts received were characterized with various physicochemical techniques. The phase composition was defined on the basis of the X-ray diffraction (XRD), and the texture and the specific surface area were defined on the basis of the researches on low-temperature adsorption of nitrogen. Moreover, the surface chemical composition, oxidation state, structure, and the reducibility of catalysts were defined on the basis of UV-Vis DRS, XRF and H2-TPR research. The differences in the reducibility of catalysts on the supports of MgO and Al2O3 were proved. The catalytic activity of resulting systems was tested in the combustion process of toluene. The effect of the active phase content (copper) and physicochemical properties of the support on activity in combustion process of toluene were investigated. It has been found that copper-based catalysts oxidize 90-95 percent toluene above 627 K. Moreover, it was proved that the specific surface area and the ordered porous structure of nanoreplica do not determine a high activity in the reaction tested.
