Michel Tournier jest nie tylko jednym z najwybitniejszych współczesnych pisarzy francsukich, ale również wielkim filozofem. Sam bardzo naciskał na swoje wykształcenie filozoficzne podkreślając jego kluczową rolę w swojej działalności pisarskiej. Jednym z tematów, który obecny jest w twórczości pisarzy jest problem czasu. Niniejsza praca magisterska ma na celu zbadanie i przeanalizowanie koncepcji czasu w pierwszej powieści francuskiego pisarza. W pracy przeanalizowane zostały kategorie czasu historycznego i ahistorycznego proponowane przez Arlette Bouloumie oraz kategorie czasu linearnego i meteorologicznego zaproponowane przez Mikko Kuusimaki. Teoretyczne podejście do tematyki czasu pozwoliło nam przeanalizować dokładniej kategorię czasowości w wybranych fragmentach tekstu. Dodatkowo porównaliśmy koncepcje czasu cyklicznego i wiecznego powrotu Mircea Eliade oraz Nietzschego ze stanowiskiem proponowanym przez Michel Tournier.

He vas really pushing for his education philosophy emphasizing its key role in your business writing. One of the topics, which is present in the works of writers is a problem of time. This thesis aims to explore and analyze the concept of time in the first novel by French writer. The study analyzed are the categories of historical time and ahistorical proposed by Arlette Bouloumie and the categories of linear time and meteorological proposed by Mikko Kuusimaki. The theoretical approach to the subject of time allowed us to analyze more closely the category of temporality in selected parts of the text. In addition, we compared the concepts of cyclic time and the eternal return of Mircea Eliade and Nietzsche with the position proposed by Michel Tournier.

Michel Tournier est non seulement l'un des plus grands écrivains contemporains mais aussi un grand philosophe. Il a beaucoup souligné son éducation philosophique en insistant sur son rôle clé dans la rédaction de son entreprise littéraire. L'un des sujets, qui est présent dans les œuvres de l'écrivain est un problème de temps. Ce mémoire vise à explorer et analyser la notion de temps dans le premier roman de l'écrivain français. L'étude a analysé sont les catégories du temps historique et anhistorique proposées par Arlette Bouloumié et les catégories de temps linéaire et météorologiques proposées par Mikko Kuusimaki. L'approche théorique au sujet de temps nous a permis d'analyser de plus près la catégorie de la temporalité dans certaines parties du texte. En outre, nous avons comparé les concepts de temps cyclique et l'éternel retour de Mircea Eliade et Nietzsche avec la position proposée par Michel Tournier.
