Poemat dramatyczny Pierre’a Corneille’a, Cyd, odegrał bardzo ważną rolę w historii francuskiego teatru. Jego dzieło zyskało ogromną popularność i zostało przetłumaczone na wiele języków. W literaturze polskiej istnieją trzy wersje Cyda: Jana Andrzeja Morsztyna z 1661 roku, Ludwika Osińskiego z 1801 i Stanisława Wyspiańskiego z 1906 roku. Tematem tej pracy jest analiza dwóch pierwszych polskich tłumaczeń Cyda, które zostaną zaprezentowane w odniesieniu do strategii translatorskich XVII i XVIII wieku. Analizy te pozwolą na odkrycie strategii, które zostały użyte przez każdego z autorów w ich tłumaczeniu.
A dramatic poem of Pierre Corneille, Cid, played a very important role in history of French theatre. His work gained huge popularity and it was translated into many languages. In polish literature there are three versions of Cid, translated by Jan Andrzej Morsztyn in 1661, Ludwik Osiński in 1801 and Stanisław Wyspiański in 1906. The theme of this work is the analysis of the first two translations of Cid, which will be presented in reference to strategies of translation in XVII and XVIII centuries. These analyzes will allow to discover the strategies that have been used by each of the authors in their translations.
Le poème dramatique de Pierre Corneille, Le Cid, a joué un rôle important dans l’histoire du théâtre français. Son œuvre a gagné une immense popularité et a été traduite dans de nombreuses langues. Dans la littérature polonaise il existe trois versions du Cid : de Jan Andrzej Morsztyn en 1661, de Ludwik Osiński en 1801 et de Stanisław Wyspiański en 1906. L’objectif de ce travail est l’analyse des deux prèmieres traductions polonaises du Cid présentée en relation avec les stratégies translatrices aux XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles. Ces analyses permettront de découvrir la stratégie qui a été embrassée par chaque auteur dans son travail.
