Niniejsza praca magisterska dotyczy zagadnień związanych z procesem percepcji człowieka omówionych w perspektywie performatywnej. Główne założenie pracy polega na ukazaniu jak percepcja może być modelowana w zależności od kontekstu technologicznego i kulturowego. Dlatego celem jest pokazanie, że percepcja nie jest uwarunkowana jedynie przez procesy biologiczne, ale zależy również od sieci czynników ludzkich i nie-ludzkich. Praca stanowi próbę uchwycenie performatywnego aspektu praktyk, które dotyczą programu leczenia ubytków zmysłowych, jak i działań o charakterze artystycznym, które dotyczą zmysłów człowieka. Ramą teoretyczną omawianych działań są metamodele performansów zaproponowane przez Jona McKenzie'go w książce "Performuj albo… Od dyscypliny do performansu". Performans techniczny, organizacyjny i kulturowy stanowią podstawę teoretycznych rozważań nad mechanizmami modelowania percepcji. Praca stanowi próbę redefinicji relacji między człowiekiem i technologią, a także naturą i kulturą.

The master's thesis concerns the process of human perception discussed in the performative perspective. The main assumption of the work is to portray how perception can be modeled depending on the context of technological and cultural heritage. Therefore, the aim is to show that perception is not determined solely by biological processes, but also depends on a network of human and non-human factors. The work is an attempt to capture the performative aspect of practices that involve sensory loss treatment and artistic activities, which relate to human senses. Theoretical frame of those practices are theory of performances offered by Jon McKenzie in the book “Perform or else ... From discipline to performance”. The technical, organizational and cultural performances are the basis to consider modeling perception depending on the cultural and technology context. The work is an attempt to rethink the relationship between human and technology, as well as nature and culture.
