Praca magisterska opisuje funkcjonowanie Międzynarodowego Funduszu Wyszehradzkiego, jedynej instytucji działającej w ramach Grupy Wyszehradzkiej. Celem jest przedstawienie Funduszu Wyszehradzkiego, jego struktury organizacyjnej, działalności oraz sprawdzenie jego funkcjonowania w praktyce. Praca podzielona jest do pięciu rozdziałów.Pierwszy rozdział poświęcony jest ewolucji Grupy Wyszehradzkiej, opisuje początki jej działalności, okres zastoju współpracy oraz szansę na przebudzenie współpracy, jaką wówczas przedstawiało Środkowoeuropejskie Porozumienie o Wolnym Handlu (CEFTA). Drugi rozdział obejmuje okres odrodzenia współpracy wyszehradzkiej, czyli proces integracji do Organizacji Traktatu Północnoatlantyckiego oraz Unii Europejskiej. W trzecim rozdziale została przedstawiona nowa droga Grupy Wyszehradzkiej po wejściu do struktur europejskich i euroatlantyckich. Czwarty rozdział zajmuje się analizą Międzynarodowego Funduszu Wyszehradzkiego. Opisuje okoliczności powstania oraz strukturę organizacyjną instytucji. Zawiera szczegółowy opis programów grantowych, procedury składania wniosków o dofinansowanie z Funduszu Wyszehradzkiego oraz nowo powstałego Wyszehradzkiego Programu Partnerstwa Wschodniego. W ostatnim rozdziale znajdują się informacje na temat programów dofinansowanych z Funduszu wspierających mobilność obywateli. Rozdział obejmuje charakterystykę Wyszehradzkich Programów Stypendialnych oraz Programów Rezydencji dla Artystów. Przedstawia wybrane inicjatywy, które mają specyficzny wkład dla regionu Europy Środkowo – Wschodniej. Tłumaczy znaczenie i sukces instrumentu jaki z sobą niesie Międzynarodowy Fundusz Wyszehradzki.

This Master's thesis describes the functioning of the International Visegrad Fund, the only institution operating within the frame of the Visegrad Group. The aim of this study is to present the Visegrad Fund, its organizational structure, activities and checking its operation in practice. Thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is concerned with the evolution of the Visegrad Group, describes the origins of its activities, the period of stagnating cooperation and the chance to restore cooperation, which at that time represented the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA). The second chapter covers the rebirth of Visegrad cooperation, the process of its integration into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the European Union. In the third chapter is presented a new way of the Visegrad Group after the entry into the European and Euro-Atlantic structures. The fourth chapter deals with the analysis of the International Visegrad Fund, describes the circumstances in which it was founded and the organizational structure of the institution. It contains a detailed description of the grant programs, procedures for submitting applications for funding from the Visegrad Fund and the newly established Visegrad Eastern Partnership Program. The last chapter contains information about the programs which were financed by the Fund to support the mobility of citizens. This chapter includes the characteristics of the Visegrad Scholarship Programs and Visegrad Artists Residency Programs. It presents some initiatives which have specific contribution to the region of Central - Eastern Europe. It explains the importance and success which the International Visegrad Fund brings.
