Praca ma na celu przedstawić tematykę tworzenia ontologii dziedzinowych do celów praktycznych. Wstęp oraz dwa pierwsze rozdziały pracy omawiają problematykę ontologii oraz idei Semantycznego Internetu ściśle powiązanego z technologiami semantycznymi, a także zawierają analizę filozoficznej strony projektu. W następnych rozdziałach przedstawione zostają teoretyczne podstawy niezbędne do utworzenia ontologii. Opisane zostają zarówno technologie wchodzące w skład semantycznego stosu, ale także narzędzia pomocne w tworzeniu oraz dalszym użytkowaniu ontologii. Następnie przedstawiony zostaje prototyp ontologii opracowany przez autora, a także omówienie prac związanych z budową ontologii dotyczących sensorów. W ostatnich rozdziałach następuje podsumowanie oraz próba wyciągnięcia wniosków istotnych dla dalszej pracy nad ustrukturyzowaniem informacji dotyczących narzędzi sensorycznych.

The aim of the paper is to present the issue of creation of domain ontologies for practical purposes. Introduction and two first chapters focus on the philosophical basis of the project including the problem of ontology creation and Semantic Web concept, strictly associated with semantic technologies. Next chapters describe fundamental ideas, connected with ontology creation, technologies contained in semantic stack and tools, which are essential in creation and further use of the ontology. Moreover, the prototype of the ontology, created by the author will be presented, as well as some papers associated with sensors' ontologies creation. Final chapters summarize and conclude the project and give some recommendations for further research on information arrangement, connected with sensory tools.
