W pierwszej części pracy przedstawiamy trzy różne podejścia do definicji dyskretnego układu chaotycznego na zwartej przestrzeni metrycznej. Następnie wprowadzamy metodę Stretching Along the Paths, która służy do dowodzenia występowania dynamiki chaotycznej w sensie semi-sprzężenia z odwzorowaniem przesunięcia na przestrzeni ciągów o dwóch symbolach. Przedstawiamy także przykład zastosowania metody SAP w układzie pochodzącym z ekonomii.
In the first part of the thesis we present three notions of chaotic dynamics for mapping of compact metric space. Thereafter we introduce the method of Stretching Along the Paths that is used to prove the existence of chaotic dynamics in the sense of semi-conjugacy to the shift map on the space of sequences of 2 symbols. We also present an application of the SAP method in economic model.
