Wstęp do pracy jest wyjaśnieniem podjętego tematu i krótkim opisem historii polskiego parlamentaryzmu. W pierwszym rozdziale opisana została pozycja ustrojowa i najważniejsze funkcje sejmu. Drugi rozdział jest opisem przebiegu procedury ustawodawczej. Trzeci rozdział to przedstawienie w praktyce procedury ustawodawczej na przykładzie ustawy o przeciwdziałaniu narkomanii z 29 lipca 2005. Zakończenie jest podsumowaniem pracy i oceną przedstawianych rozwiązań.
The introduction is an explanation of the topic and a brief story of the Polish Parliament. The first chapter considers the most significant functions of the Polish Parliament as well as its place in the Polish legislative system. The second chapter describes the legislative procedures. The third chapter shows us the procedures on example of the Act on counteracting drug addiction of 29 July 2005. The summary concludes and evaluates the issues mentioned in the paper.
