Celem pracy byłoprzedstawienie aspektów politycznych oraz ekonomicznych w metodzie zapłodnienia pozaustrojowego.Praca zawiera trzy rozdziały. W I rozdziale wyjaśniono pojęcie in vitro, oraz omówiono niepłodność żeńską i męską, jej przyczyny, możliwości leczenia, a także zapobieganie niepłodności. Rozdział II dotyczy właściwego tematu, tj. Problemu in vitro w prasie polskiej. Do analizy wybrano artykuły z „Newsweeka”, „Tygodnika Powszechnego” oraz „Rzeczpospolitej”. Rozdział III opracowano w oparciu o Dyrektywę 2004/23/WE Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady z dnia 31 marca 2004 r. w sprawie ustalenia norm jakości i bezpiecznego oddawania, pobierania, testowania, przetwarzania, konserwowania, przechowywania i dystrybucji tkanek i komórek ludzkich oraz wypowiedzi internautów. W dyskusji poruszono takie tamaty jak informacje o wyglądzie i charakterze zabiegu sztucznego zapłodnienia, koszty procedury oraz za lub przeciw in vitro.

The aim of the study is to present political and economic aspects of the in vitro fertilization method. The work contains three chapters. The first chapter explains the concept of in vitro fertilization and discusses female and male infertility, its causes, treatment options and prevention. Chapter II discusses the subject of the thesis which is The Problem of In Vitro in Polish Press. A number of selected articles necessary for the analysis have been chosen from the following magazines Newsweek, TygodnikPowszechny and Rzeczpospolita. Chapter III has been prepared on the basis of opinions of the Internet users as well as the Directive 2004/23 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council from 31 March 2004 on setting standards of quality and safety for the donation, procurement, testing, processing, preservation, storage and distribution of human tissues and cells. The discussion touches upon such topics as information about the appearance and character of the in vitro fertilization treatment, the costs of the procedures and, finally, opinions for or against in vitro fertilization.
