Celem niniejszej pracy jest próba dokonania analizy złożoności relacji rodzinnych w oparciu o utwory jednego z najbardziej prominentnych twórców japońskiej literatury współczesnej - Dazaia Osamu (1909-1948). Rozważaniom poddane zostają przyczyny oraz skutki negatywnego wpływu rodziny na jednostkę: ojca, matkę oraz dziecko. Autorka stara się znaleźć odpowiedź na pytanie, kto tak naprawdę stanowi ofiarę, omawiając zależność pomiędzy niewłaściwym postępowaniem w stosunku do wyżej wspomnianej grupy społecznej a stanem psychiki osoby postrzeganej jako dręczyciel. Praca poddaje również analizie sposób w jaki artysta jest w stanie funkcjonować w rodzinie i czy jest to w ogóle możliwe.

The aim of the project is to analyse the complexity of family relations discussed in the works of Dazai Osamu (1909-1948), one of the most distinguished figures in modern Japanese literature. Both the causes and the consequences of the negative impact of the family on an individual: father, mother and a child, have been submitted for consideration. The author, analysing the relationship between an objectionable attitude towards the social unit discussed and the mental state of the person perceived as an oppressor, makes an attempt to answer the question who is the actual victim. The project also tries to determine the manner in which an artist is able to function in the family, if it is at all possible.
