Wstęp: Borelioza i reumatoidalne zapalenie stawów są chorobami przewlekłymi, które wymagają stałej kontroli oraz wsparcia od profesjonalistów i bliskich osób. Pacjenci z chorobami przewlekłymi mogą otrzymywać wsparcie także za pośrednictwem Internetu. Systemy e-zdrowia mogą przyczynić się do zwiększenia skuteczności kontrolowania i leczenia choroby.Cel pracy: Ocena postaw osób chorych na boreliozę i reumatoidalne zapalenie stawów wobec technologii e-zdrowia z uwzględnieniem czynników modyfikujących stopień akceptacji wybranych funkcjonalności.Materiał i metody: Badanie przeprowadzono wśród pacjentów zrzeszonych w Stowarzyszeniu Chorych na Boreliozę i Augustowskim Stowarzyszeniu Chorych na Reumatyzm. Zastosowaną metodą badawczą był sondaż diagnostyczny. Badanie zrealizowano za pomocą kwestionariusza ankiety udostępnionego w Internecie.Wyniki: Respondenci w największym stopniu akceptowali takie funkcjonalności e-zdrowia jak kontakt z lekarzem prowadzącym, kontakt z lekarzem lub pielęgniarką posiadającymi doświadczenie w leczeniu choroby występującej u pacjenta, wymianę informacji i doświadczeń z innymi pacjentami z tą samą chorobą oraz możliwość przesyłania wyników samodzielnych pomiarów do centrum monitorowania. Czynnikiem modyfikującym stopień akceptacji wybranych funkcjonalności e-zdrowia było miejsce zamieszkania.Wnioski: Pacjenci z boreliozę i reumatoidalnym zapaleniem stawów wykazywali wysoką akceptację dla funkcjonalności e-zdrowia. Respondenci w największym stopniu akceptowali te funkcjonalności e-zdrowia, które ułatwiają uzyskanie wsparcia od pracowników ochrony zdrowia i innych pacjentów oraz sprzyjające monitorowaniu choroby. Największy stopień akceptacji wybranych funkcjonalności e-zdrowia wykazywały osoby mieszkające w większych miastach.

Introduction: Lyme disease and rheumatoid arthritis are chronic diseases that need constant monitoring and support from professionals and other people. Support for chronically ill patient can be carried out via the Internet. E-health systems can help to increase the effectiveness of management and treatment of disease.Objective: The assessment of rating attitudes of patients with Lyme disease and rheumatoid arthritis to e-health technology, taking into account factors modifying the degree of acceptance selected functionality.Subjects and methods: The study was conducted among patients who were members of The Association of Patients with Lyme Disease and The Augustow Rheumatism Patients Association. The applied research method was a diagnostic survey. The survey was conducted by means of a questionnaire available on the Internet.Results: Among e-health functionalities, respondents revealed the highest acceptance for contacting a doctor, contact a doctor or nurse with experience in treating of disease, exchanging of information and experiences with other patients with the same disease and transmission of the results of independent measurements to the monitoring center. The highest of acceptance factor that modifies selected functionality of e-health was a place of residence.Conclusions: People suffering from boreliosis and rheumatoid arthritis showed a positive attitude towards e-health implementation. Respondents showed the highest acceptance for e health functionalities enhancing support from health care workers or other patients and favorable disease monitoring. The largest degree of acceptance towards the chosen functionality of e-health showed people living in larger cities.
