Celem niniejszej pracy dyplomowej jest analiza fotografii i obrazów malarskich aktorek żyjących pod koniec XIX i na początku XX wieku. Irena Solska i Wanda Siemaszkowa zostały uwiecznione przez zdjęcia i aranżacje malarskie, a ich teatralne życie zostało zapisane w biografiach. W pracy przedstawiona zostaje korespondencja pomiędzy tymi trzema elementami i uwypuklony ich ścisły związek. Fotografie i aranżacje malarskie zapewniają długowieczność, ale pełnią również rolę kreacyjną. Wszystkie te trzy elementy przedstawiają w miarę pełny obraz aktorek przełomu XIX/XX wieku. Zwracam również uwagę na, że obecnie oba media – fotograficzne i malarskie - są wypierane przez instalacje teatralne. Pozwala to na lepszą analizę gry aktorskiej i dokładniejszy opis całej sylwetki aktora.

The aim of this thesis is the analysis of photographs and paintings of actresses at the turn of XIX and XX century.Irena Solska and Wanda Siemaszkowa were immortalized by the photographs and painting arrangements,and their theatrical life was written in biographies.In this thesis,a correspondence among those three constituents is shown, and their close connection is emphasized.The photographs and painting arrangements provide longevity,but they also fulfil a role of creation.All those three constituents moderately show a full image of actresses at the turn of XIX and XX century.I also draw attention to the fact that,present media - both photograpgical and painting - are displaced by theatrical installations.It allows to a better analysis of acting and more precise description of the whole figure of an actor.
