Niniejsza praca opisuje wybrane sny rosyjskiej literatury XIX wieku. We wstępie marzenie senne ukazane zostało z medycznego punktu widzenia. Przedstawiony został jego sens, cel, a także struktura. Informacje zawarte we wstępie zaczerpnięto z dzieła "O istocie snów" C.G.Junga. Pierwszy rozdział pt."Romantyczne koszmary" poświęcono snom umieszczonym w utworach Aleksandra Puszkina, mianowicie w "Eugeniuszu Onieginie", "Zamieci" oraz balladzie "Pan młody". Celem niniejszego rozdziału była analiza koszmaru Tatiany, głównej bohaterki "Eugeniusza Oniegina", a następnie wskazanie na podobieństwa i różnice, zachodzące pomiędzy nim i snami, opisanymi w pozostałych, wyżej wspomnianych dziełach. Ponadto na końcu przedstawiono rolę owych marzeń sennych w odnieśieniu do romantyzmu, jako epoki literackiej, w której tworzył Puszkin. Następny rozdział pt. "Psychologizm w snach Raskolnikowa, Swidrygajłowa i Karamazowa" traktuje o marzeniach sennych w powieściach Fiodora Dostojewskiego. Najpierw interpretowane są sny bohaterów "Zbrodni i kary". Podczas analizy owych koszmarów przedstawiony został ich cel, a także skutek, jaki wywarły one na śniącym. Podkreślone zostało podobieństwo zachodzące między nimi, a także rola jaką pełniły w odnieśieniu do całości utworu. Zaznaczono ich użycie w celu uzyskania zabiegu polifonii. Następnie interpretacji poddano sen bohatera "Braci Karamazow". Opisane zostały motywy w nim zawarte, ich pochodzenie, a także skutek, jaki wywarł on na przyszłe życie śniącego. Trzeci rozdział pt."Tajemnica więzi" poświęcono powieści "Anna Karenina" autorstwa Lwa Tołstoja. Przedstawione zostały w nim sny tytułowej bohaterki oraz jej kochanka Wrońskiego. W niniejszym rozdziale wskazuje się na szczególną więź, istniejącą pomiędzy wspomnianymi wyżej bohaterami, związaną z podobieństwem zachodzącym pomiędzy ich koszmarami. W zakończeniu streszczono ogólne wnioski z wyżej wspomnianych rozdziałów oraz opisane zostały marzenia senne, nie będące koszmarami, a występujące w innych dziełach literatury rosyjskiej np. w "Burzy" Aleksandra Ostrowskiego, "Obłomowie" Iwana Gonczarowa, czy też w "Ojcach i dzieciach" Iwana Turgieniewa.

This work describes chosen dream visions in the Russian literatre of the 19th century. In the introduction, dream vision has been depicted from the medical point of view. Its meaning, aim and structure are introduced .The information used in the introduction is based on C.G. Jung's 'On the Nature of Dreams'. The first chapter titled 'Romantic nightmares' focuses on the dreams found in works of Alexander Pushkin, namely in 'Eugene Onegin', 'The Blizzard' and the ballad 'The Bridegroom'. The aim of this chapter is the analysis of the nightmare of Tatiana, the main character of 'Eugene Onegin' in orderd to show the similarities and differences between the nightmare and the dreams described in the aforementioned works. Moreover, at the end of the chapter the role of the dream visions with relation to Romanticism is presented. The next chapter titled 'Psychologism in the dreams of Raskolnikov, Svidrigailov and Karamazov' deals with the dream visions in Fiodor Dostoyevsky's novels. The first topic analysed are the dreams of the characters in „Crime and Punishment”. During the analysis of these nightmares, their aim has been introduced as well as the influence they had on the dreamer. The similarities between them and the role they played in the entire work is underlined. Their use is stressed in order to achieve the effect of poliphony. In the latter part of the chapter the dream of the character of 'Brothers Karamazov' is interpreted. The description includes motifs, their background and the influence it had on the future life of the dreamer. The third chapter titled „The mystery of the bond' is dedicated to the novel 'Anna Karenina' written by Leo Tolstoy. In it, the dreams of the eponymous heroine and her lover Vronsky are depicted. In this chapter, the stress is on the unique bond between the aforementioned characters on the basis of the similarities between their nightmares. In the final part of the thesis the general conclusions which are the result of the aforementioned chapters are summarised. Additionally, other dream visions, which are not nightmares, are described. They are included in different Russian literary works, such as 'The Storm' by Alexander Ostrovsky, 'Oblomov' by Goncharov, or 'Fathers and Sons' by Ivan Turgenev
