Celem napisania poniższej pracy było ukazanie wpływu transformacji ustrojowej i procesów jej towarzyszących na zmiany zachodzące w sferze gospodarczej i społecznej dzielnicy Nowa Huta. Podstawową metodą badań była analiza danych statystycznych udostępnionych w serwisach statystycznych Krakowa oraz analiza artykułów i dzieł stanowiących o sytuacji dzielnicy, przebiegu jej powstawania i problemów z jakimi musiała się mierzyć. Transformacja oraz związana z nią restrukturyzacja miały pozytywny wpływ na aktualny stan dzielnicy i jej możliwe kierunki rozwóju w przyszłości.
The purpose of this study was to show the influence of political transformation and its associated processes to changes in the economic and social spheres in Nowa Huta district. The main method used was the analysis of articeles and works that tell of condition, the process of the formation and problems that district need to measured. Transformation and the associated restructuring had a positiv influence on the current stat of Nowa Huta and its possibile development in the future.
