Reservoirs and their surroundings in terms of the concept of patches and corridors.

W pracy podjęto dyskusję, której głównym celem jest rozpoznanie, czy zbiorniki retencyjne pełnią funkcję płatu, czy korytarza ekologicznego. W pierwszym rozdziale zostały omówione funkcje i parametry morfometryczne zbiorników retencyjnych oraz ich rozmieszczenie na świecie. Drugi rozdział ma czytelnikowi przybliżyć teorię płatów i korytarzy, ze szczególnym omówieniem takich elementów jak: płat, matryca i korytarz. Porównano również teorię płatów i korytarzy z modelem geokompleksów. Trzeci rozdział poświęcony jest wpływowi zbiorników retencyjnych na elementy przyrody ożywionej: flory i fauny. Omówiono również zmiany w użytkowaniu ziemi wywołane budową zbiornika retencyjnego. Kolejny rozdział brzmi: rola zbiorników retencyjnych w kształtowaniu krajobrazu na przykładzie Zbiornika Domaniów. Przedstawiono w nim skutki dla krajobrazu jakie wywołała budowa zbiornika. Przedostatni rozdział jest odpowiedzią na postawiony cel pracy. Zwrócono również uwagę na otoczenie zbiorników i zmiany jakie w nim zachodzą. Ostatni rozdział podsumowuje całą pracę i w syntetyczny sposób podaje główne wnioski jakie płyną z pracy.

The study was discussed, whose main aim is to identify whether the reservoirs act as a patch or ecological corridor. In the first chapter are discussed features and morphometric parameters of reservoirs and their location in the world. The second chapter is to introduce the reader to the theory of patches and corridors, with a special discussion of such elements as: steak, matrix and corridor. We also compared the theory of patches and corridors with a model geocomplexes. The third chapter is devoted to the influence of reservoirs on the elements of living nature: flora and fauna. It also discusses the changes in land use caused by the construction of the reservoir. The next chapter is: the role of reservoirs in landscaping for example Domaniów Reservoir. It presents the effects on the landscape that sparked the construction of the reservoir. The penultimate chapter is a response to the objective set for the work. Attention was also paid to the surroundings of tanks and the changes that occur in it. The last chapter summarizes all the work and gives a synthetic way the main conclusions that flow from work.
